This is very true. The best example, besides Detroit and New Orleans, is in Zimbabwe, Africa. Rhodesia used to be the bread basket of Africa when white farmers tended the land. Whites as well as blacks possessed the foodstuffs necessary for a comfortable life, and enough leftover to export. Then came Mugabe and his goons. The nationalized the lands and gave them to black "farmers" who did not even have the basic knowledge of farming and had no love for the land. The once-productive lands became fallow and blacks moved to the city to pathetically stretch their hands begging for handouts. The old Rhodesian Dollar became the Zimbabwe Dollar and it went from par with the Pound Sterling to a ridiculous Weimar Republic hyperinflationary value of Trillions per Pound Sterling. At that point a major brain drain occurred and white professionals had to move to other parts of Europe and the US. The brain power left in Zimbabwe might today average in the high 80s, with the possible exception of the elite class, which I feel might possess a bit more brain cells to be able to manipulate and convince the hoi polloi, that their future is in good hands, otherwise the elites would have been removed a long time ago. I am with you, Rick. Our country need to awaken to the dangers from within. Jay ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.” - Cicero -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
